Sandweegies is a self-initiated project where I bring together my interests in design, food and storytelling. As founder and creative director, I lead the magazine’s visual identity, editorial structure, art direction and print production, while collaborating with photographers, writers and local businesses. The magazine has been widely stocked and recognised for its strong design language and community-led approach, and continues to evolve across print, digital and experiential formats.

About Sandweegies:

‘Sandweegies is a creatively designed magazine that dives into Glasgow’s vibrant food scene - one sandwich at a time. More than just a celebration of great food, it’s a tribute to the people behind it: the bakers, chefs, and café owners who bring the city’s sandwiches to life. Through, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and carefully curated layouts, Sandweegies explores not just what’s on the plate, but the passion, craft and
community behind it.

We also run a monthly newsletter Substack, covering Glasgow’s food scene as it happens. From new openings and pop-ups to thoughtful food stories and behind-the-scenes magazine updates. A place for good writing, good food, and the people who make the city what it is.’
